Den Meetings: 1st and 2nd Monday - St. John's Social Hall

A child who is in the fourth or fifth grade is a Webelo scout.  The Webelos program is designed to prepare Cub Scouts to join a Scouts BSA Troop in February of their fifth grade year.  This gives time for new Scouts to get familiar with the Troop and time to prepare for summer camp.

Fourth graders are in our Webelo I den and complete the requirements for the Webelo rank and the many electives that are offered.  Examples include:

• The proper way to lay and light a fire
• Planning and managing a budget
• Learning about what duty to God means to you and your family
• Essential first-aid skills
• Increased level of fitness
• Feeling better about oneself both physically and mentally
• Planning hikes
• Learning outdoor safety skills
• Building skills and tool safety
• And more!
