Once your kid is a registered scout, as parent you have few responsibilities.

Youth Protection Training: All adults are required to complete Youth Protection Training. It doesn't take long, and you can do it online at www.scouting.org.  Upon completion, BSA will generate a certificate -- save a copy and pass it along to your den leader.

Scoutmanager: Use Scoutmanager to track your son’s achievements, and use pack's website  to check the calendar, register for events, and view current announcements.

Den & Pack Meetings: Please be involved in your child's den/pack meetings.  We have fun together as families!  Want to see cub scout fun?  Here's the BSA Cub Welcome Video!

Be Involved: As you know Scouting is run by parent volunteers. It’s a great way to see how your child learns and grows with the organization.  Volunteering only requires a couple hours a month or even less. Just mention your availbility we would find the right job for you!

Have fun with the scouts as you watch them grow into fine young people!
