How do you become a Boy Scout?

Meet the age requirements. Be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old. Complete a Boy Scout application and health history signed by your parent or guardian.

We'd love for you to visit our troop and decide if the Troop 83 is the right place for you and your friends to continue on as Boy Scouts.  Our troop is boy led, and reletivily smaller in size so you don't get lost in a huge patrol and never have the chance to be a voice of the troop.  We have fun and plan activities throughout the year.   Our troop is one of the oldest troop...
