These are not stock photos of child actors in a publicity photo shoot. These are the real cub scouts of Pack 208 in Lacey, Washington, and we'd like to invite you to join us! As an active pack, our boys get their hands dirty while learning valuable skills, building lifelong friendships and - most importantly - having fun.We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure, and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility.
Pack 208 offers fun and challenging activities to promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). In our Pack, parents and leaders work together to help the boys grow in the ideals of Scouting.
When you're a kid, fun comes first. Final exams, driver's ed and summer jobs will arrive soon enough. We let kids have fun while teaching them skills that will help them later on. From the thrill of shooting an arrow to learning how to transform a block of wood into a race car, Cub Scouts is one activity after another. With a program expertly tailored to match each age in a young boy's life, our boys learn that even when fun isn't easy, it's always an adventure. In Scouting, everything has a purpose...and it shows kids that doing their best is the most rewarding fun of all.
From camping to exploring, marching in parades to learning water safety and archery skills, to rock climbing and medical assistance techniques (and so much more!), Pack 208 has some of the most active Cub Scouts around!
