Welcome to Brookline Cub Scouts Pack 260!

We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure; and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility.

Cub Scouts offer fun and challenging activities to promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness for boys and girls who are in kindergarten through fifth grade. In our Pack, parents and leaders work together to help the boys grow in the ideals of Scouting.

Cub Scouts Join The Fun

When you're a kid, fun comes first. Final exams, driver's ed and summer jobs will arrive soon enough. Cub Scouts lets kids have fun while teaching them skills that will help them later on. From the thrill of shooting an arrow to learning how to transform a block of wood into a race car, Cub Scouts is one thrill after another. With a program expertly tailored to match each age in a young boy's life, Cub Scouts learn that even when fun isn't easy, it's always an adventure. In Scouting, everything has a purpose. And it shows kids that doing their best is the most fun of all.

Pack 260 is a small Cub Scout pack serving the town of Brookline, New Hampshire.  We are a Family Scouting unit, meaning there are Dens for both boys and girls.  Each Den is made up of boys or girls from a single grade.  All the Dens together make up the Pack.  Parent volunteers lead the Dens.  Scouts meet with their Den once or twice each month for fun activities with their friends.  A Den meets at a time and place chosen by the Den.  The Lion (kindergarten) and Tiger (first grade) Dens are designed for Scouts and their parent or guardian to participate together.  As the kids move up through the Wolf, Bear and Webelos Dens they become increasingly independent.  All the Dens meet all together once each month at the Pack Meeting, on the third Thursday of the month.  The Pack Meeting is a chance for the kids to have more fun all together, and to be recognized for the achievements they've completed in the previous month.  Pack 260 holds its Pack Meetings in the CSDA cafeteria starting at 7pm.

Boys and girls are welcome to join Cub Scouting in any grade!  For more information, contact us at pack260cubscouts@gmail.com.
