Our Troop
Welcome to Troop 26, Monroes's first all girl Scouts BSA Troop. For more than five decades,
The Boy Scouts of America has has been welcoming young women Venturing, Exploring, Sea Scouts and Stem Scout programs.
The Leaders of Troop 26, with their combined leadership training of over
40 years combined, coming from Troops 62, 270 & 203 and Cub Scout Packs 162, 272.
The leaders are thrilled to bring this opportunity to all young girls to Monroe.
We welcome girls ages 11 ( 10 if they earned Arrow of Light Award or have completed 5th. grade) through 17 to join anytime.
Troop 26 meets Monday nights at the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department station 2 located at 801 Main St. (RT.25) at 7:00
The troop meets/camps year round to give the scouts a four season experience. Each trip will be planned by the Scouts.
These trips will range from rock climbing, white water rafting, skiing, hiking , zip lining and other high adventure trips and activities.
The Troop also participates in community service's and activities through organizations like the The Stepney taskForce ( Christmas tree lighting )
Women's club, St. Peters Grace ( Apple Festival ) and Stepney Babtist Church ( Fall Festivl ). Scouts will also have fundraising opportunities.
