Cub Scout Pack 260, Glen Mills, PA

About Us:

Since 1946, Cub Scout Pack 260 has been preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  We strive to teach the principles of scouting through respect for the individual and to develop and use every child's potential to the best of their ability.  We offer many opportunities that align with the spirit of scouting, including:

  • Building and racing model cars in the Pinewood Derby
  • Building our bicycle skills while riding in rallies and parades
  • Flying model spaceships in the Space Derby and Rocket Blast
  • Building and racing wind-powered boats in the Raingutter Regatta
  • Learning to be responsible hikers and campers by hiking and camping in the spring, summer and fall.
  • Participating in activities like swimming, climbing walls, and archery
  • Toasting marshmallows and making s'mores over a campfire, while singing songs and performing skits
  • Studying the natural world and the wildlife that lives in it while respecting the environment and leaving no trace when we go home

Cub Scouts Join The Fun

We have fun while learning and building character in every child who passes through Pack 260. Our adult leaders and parents instill scout values while ensuring each child is meeting challenges, doing things they like to do and developing strong friendships throughout the year. We encourage children to recognize their duty to God and encourage each and their adult leaders to be faithful in their religious duties. Our cub scouts learn duty to God, country, others and self.  To read more about Cub Scouting, visit https://www.scouting.org/programs/cub-scouts/

We are now welcoming girls to our pack!  Based on feedback from our community and an understanding that the character and leadership qualities our programs develop, grounded in the Scout Oath and Law, are as relevant and helpful for girls as they have been for boys.  For more information, visit: https://colbsa.org/family

Our Meetings:

A "den" is a group of six to eight youth that meets approximately twice per month.  Parent involvement is highly encouraged for our den meetings. The youth in a den are the same grade and gender. The den structure allows Cub Scouts to build relationships with leaders and other Cub Scouts their age. The den provides opportunities for activities that would be difficult with a large group and provides leadership and advancement opportunities.

Pack 260 offers dens for the following age groups:

Monthly "pack" meeting bring together families from every den to participate in a large-scale event that serves as a showcase for everything the Cub Scouts have learned and done in their individual den meetings. The pack meetings give everyone a larger experience beyond their own den, and helps them to connect their individual activities to the entire Cub Scouting program.
