Hello Pack 1082 families,

I need to address three items before the upcoming pack meeting 9/18/17 in the Angell gym from 6:30-7:30 pm.

First:

Popcorn sales

Bil Ashe was kind enough to send an email out about how much popcorn a scout would have to sell in order to pay for the scout dues. Each scout selling popcorn must sell at least $475 gross sales to pay for the scout dues. The commission on the gross sales is 34%. The dues are $160 to join scouting with Pack 1082. The $475 is the gross sales multiplied by 34% which equals $161.50. This would cover the dues for the year. If the scout sells more than $475 that amount would be applied to other events such as paying for camp or another paid event hosted by Pack 1082.

Second:

If you have paid at least $60 for the past Spring or Fall 2017 Join Scouting Night, have an overage from a previous year, or sold popcorn starting in August 2017 and the amount is equal to or greater than $60 there are no dues for the upcoming Pack meeting. However, scout families not meeting one of the above conditions are responsible for paying $60 at the first pack meeting. We will have a spreadsheet on the overage report and who has paid, to help scout families. We will have a square reader available for debit and credit card transactions. Please make checks payable to Pack 1082.

Third:

Each paid registered scout will receive a Pack 1082 t-shirt. I attached the order form. Please print out the form, and fill it out prior to the Pack 1082 meeting. I will have order forms available at the pack meeting, but having the form filled out is the best option.
